Wukong PS5 physical edition confirmed; pre-orders set to open soon

The physical edition of Black Myth: Wukong, which leaked on October 21st, 2024, has now been officially announced by Game Science. PM Studios will assist in distributing the game across the USA, Europe, South America, Australia, and New Zealand.

While the exact release date hasn’t been revealed, pre-orders will be available at retailers soon.

Developers and publisher PM Studios have confirmed that the standard physical copy of the Action RPG for PlayStation 5 will be priced at $65 for pre-orders as it goes live soon. Preorders should begin soon, and this edition is perfect for those who want a physical copy of the game.

PM Studios confirms disc-based physical edition

Once the ‘code in a box’ rumours came out, PM Studios was quick to address fans on Twitter, saying that the physical copy comes with an entire Blu-ray disc and is fully playable offline. The additional weapons, equipment, Curio item, and five tracks from the digital soundtrack in the Deluxe Edition will be available through a separate voucher from the PlayStation Store.

 It is an exceptional action-role-playing game based on the Legend of Chinese mythical creatures.

Black Myth: Wukong has sold more than 18 million copies and is credited with being one of the most successful Action RPGs of recent times. The game, based on a Chinese tale, Journey to the West, was produced by Game Science.
