WhatsApp provides AI powered conversations in chats

The ability to use voice messages within WhatsApp groups is a new addition. Now, a fresh online report claims that the IM software is releasing a feature that will allow users to quickly access AI-powered conversations within the Chats section.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will soon have a button in the Chats page that will take users directly to their AI-powered conversations.

This function is currently in beta testing for Android devices only. Android beta testers will need to update to build number 2.23.24.26 in order to gain access to the new feature.

More people will find the action button with this new, colorful shortcut. You can’t miss it.

Comments from Meta

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced in September this year a new feature that will allow a limited number of users to test out chats driven by artificial intelligence. These conversations are made to help people out with their regular activities by providing useful tips and hints.

According to a screenshot provided by WABetaInfo, there is now a button in the Chats tab above the icon to initiate a new conversation. Users may access AI-powered chats with the click of a button, streamlining the procedure and saving time.

It is important to note that AI-powered chats are now only available to a select audience, and that a firm rollout date has not yet been set.

As stated in the study, Users may now access AI-powered conversations instantly from the Chats Tab without having to first visit the contact list. We think this method drastically cuts down on the work needed to kick off these niche discussions. Moreover, users will be more likely to take advantage of AI-assisted interactions if the shortcut is conveniently located under the Chats tab.

More On The Update

The beta release of an Android update to WhatsApp has begun, bringing with it a new feature that displays the number of views for a certain channel update within the message bubble.

This function is meant to assist channel owners in gauging the impact of their updates by providing feedback on their level of viewing. Not only can channel owners see how many times their videos have been viewed, but so can their subscribers.

Benefiting both individuals and businesses that broadcast via WhatsApp Channels, this functionality has the potential to improve the user experience and provide useful insights. Users are given the tools to gauge the reach and effect of their communications, revealing the most well-received pieces of information.
