Growdash Hyper-Competitive, UAE-based startup that helps restaurants build and implement profitable online growth strategies, just closed a US$750,000 pre-seed round of funding led by Flat6Labs.
Plus Venture Capital (+VC), Judah VC, TPN Investments, and a group of well-known seed investors like Abdulhamid Alomar, the former CEO of Talabat, and Zeid Husban, a serial entrepreneur, also took part in the round.
In the regional food and beverage industry, which is very competitive, the biggest problems restaurants face are getting the most out of online food delivery outlets, getting the most out of their growth investments, and making money on these platforms.
Talabat and Deliveroo alumni Sean Trevaskis and Enver Sorkun established Growdash in 2022 to help regional eateries access market data and insights for informed decision-making.
The company helps restaurants use analytics and business intelligence to create growth strategies that boost bottom-line profits. Growdash’s custom SaaS solution links data from a restaurant’s pre- and post-order journeys. Nandos, Wagamama, Kreative Restaurants & Co., Papa Murphy’s, Malak Al Tawouk, and others have used the company’s platform to increase online advertising returns by over 800% and improve bottom-line profitability.
The newly raised capital will be deployed to hire new talent, further augment its proprietary capabilities with advanced innovative features, and expand its services across the wider region.

Right now, Growdash is in the UAE and Kuwait. After the successful funding round, the company plans to launch its SaaS service in Qatar and Saudi Arabia this year. In early 2024, it will start to make inroads into the rest of the area.
Growdash’s Co-Founder and CEO, Sean Trevaskis, said, “We are excited to partner with Flat6Labs and Plus Venture Capital, along with a super-group of F&B industry-focused investors who continue to support and encourage our ambitious plans every day.”
“We’re proud that so far this year, we’ve grown by more than 500%, which shows that the problem we’re fixing for restaurants is a real one. This money will help us grow faster and reach our goal of giving restaurants the tools they need to stand out in the highly competitive online food delivery market.
“We have purposefully built a value-add ecosystem for every stakeholder and made this conveniently accessible through our SaaS platform,” stated Growdash Co-Founder and CPO Enver Sorkun. We enable over 150 restaurant brands and the leading regional Food aggregators to create greater synergy so restaurants can finally experience the full potential to recruit new customers and increase revenue without taking significant financial risks with growth budgets.”
“Growdash has already demonstrated the incredible potential of its platform to revolutionize how restaurants capitalize on the tremendous opportunity for growth that online channels provide,” commented Flat6Labs UAE General Manager Ryaan Sharif. Flat6Labs mentors early-stage entrepreneurs with working money. This helps our efforts to establish a healthy ecosystem of disruptive start-ups that scale from their headquarters in Abu Dhabi to drive positive and significant change across the GCC and beyond.
