Spectranet, Nigeria’s “foremost Internet Service Provider,” was honoured once again for their accomplishments in the Nigerian telecom business at this year’s redesigned Africa Beacon of ICT and Leadership Awards, which took place at the Oriental Hotels in Lagos.
These awards were presented in recognition of Spectranet’s efforts in the Nigerian telecom market. The business was recognised as the “Best 4G LTE Internet Service Provider” and the “Broadband Services Provider of the Year” in the respective award categories.

What Spectranet’s executives say
At the event, which was graced by the leaders of the nation’s information and communications technology industry, the Editor in Chief and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Communication Week, Ken Nwogbo, remarked that Spectranet emerged winner in the “Best 4G LTE Internet Provider of the Year” and “Broadband Service Provider of the year” categories through the voting process that was recently finalised.
He went on to say that “this is a testament to Spectranet’s talents, innovations, contributions, and commitments to the growth of the ICT industry and that Nigerians have recognised their hard work, sincerity, and dedication towards developing the ICT industry in Africa.”
In his remarks regarding the awards, the Chief Executive Officer of Spectranet, Maneesh Kulshrestha, stated that this award is given to Spectranet subscribers who have maintained their relationship with the company for the past ten years. This July marks the incredible milestone of bringing 4G LTE connectivity to Nigerians for a whole decade.
Because of Spectranet’s dedicated subscribers, they have been able to accomplish everything that they have, and they will never take subscribers’ support for granted. Spectranet values all of the input that their customers provide regarding the quality of their service, and they are dedicated to putting their best foot forward in order to consistently meet and exceed customers’ expectations.
Speaking on Spectranet’s dedication to providing High Speed Internet that is both Affordable and Reliable, Mr. Kulshrestha remarked, “We are expanding to new states bringing high speed fibre internet to more Nigerian homes through our “Home Fiber” (FTTH) and “Fiber on Air” (WTTH) technologies. Other details
Spectranet’s representatives, including Sumit Arora, Head of Enterprise, Raja Ramaswamy, Head of Sales, Jemimah Adalemo, Brand Communications Manager, Kazeem Aminu, Regional Sales Manager; and Prem Kumar, Head of Marketing, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
The Nigeria Communication’s Week is responsible for the establishment of the Africa BoICT Award, which has since grown to become one of the most prominent yearly awards in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry in the country over the course of the past 14 years.
The topic of “Digital Transformation and Cloud Services as the New Order” was this year’s event’s central focus. Dr. Krishnan Ranganath, who serves as Regional Executive at Africa Data Centres and Engineer, is the one who gave the presentation. Olusola Teniola is currently serving as the Alliance for Affordable Internet’s National Coordinator.
