Sendbox, a Nigeria-based e-commerce fulfillment platform for merchants in Africa, it helps with local and international shipping from pickup to doorstep delivery at affordable rates.
The company, which was founded in 2018, offers small-scale merchants selling on e-commerce and social media platforms affordable access to local and international delivery options. Sendbox is a single location to manage both local deliveries and international shipments to the EU, UK, US, and Canada. It is accessible to iOS and Android users, via the web application, on Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, and other e-commerce platforms, and through developer APIs.
A customer can request a pickup or delivery from the seller and It will get delivered to where they need it to go.

According to their Facebook handle, it has been confirmed that the e-commerce company has launched its services in Ghana.

Sendbox Journey So Far
In October 2021, Sendbox Raised $1.8 million seed round to expand into more African markets, scale its product offerings and hire more talents.
After participating in the startup’s pre-seed round in 2018, 4DX Ventures returned to lead this investment round. Enza Capital, FJLabs, Golden Palm Investments, and Flexport are among the other investors in this round. As part of its 2021 winter cohort, YC Combinator also wrote a check. This brings the total amount invested in the company to $2 million.
