Moringa, Lipa Later and Huawei to offer affordable computers to Students

Moringa School has announced that it would work with Lipa Later and Huawei to give all its current and future students high-quality laptops at very low prices.

As a result of this partnership, young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who are interested in participating in Moringa School programs will have the opportunity to acquire brand new laptops from Huawei through a “Buy Now, Pay Later” deal that will be financed by Lipa Later. The partnership will be in effect for at least one year.

During the signing of the MOU, the CEO of Moringa School, Snehar Shah, made the following statement: “We realized that more than half of our applicants either do not have access to quality laptops or are unable to afford one.” Because of our collaboration, they can now purchase low-cost, high-quality products from our other partners.

The Partnership will provide low interest rates for students

Due to the partnership, students will be able to take advantage of low-interest rates of 3.8% per month at a Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of Kshs. 119,999, which includes VAT.

In addition to this, Moringa School has taken this initiative one step further by establishing a partnership with Close the Gap LTD. Despite the fact that the relationship between Huawei and Lipa Later uses a model known as “Buy Now, Pay Later,” this agreement will make it possible for students at Moringa School, both new and current, to gain access to high-quality computers at prices that are quite reasonable. For instance, an HP ELITE X2 1011 G1 FULL M-5Y71M-5Y71 that is currently sold for Kshs. 49,000 and upwards will now only be sold for Kshs. 26,499, and it will also be eligible for financing through Lipa Later.

As a school, we are proud of our ability to listen to the needs of our current and potential students and to come up with creative ways to meet those needs. We are very enthusiastic about these new partnership opportunities. Because of this, we think that more students will be able to join our programs, which will remove a barrier that kept them from doing so before. He added

Since it started in 2014, Moringa has trained more than 4,000 students and put more than 85% of its graduates into leadership positions in organizations in Africa and around the world.
