A new partnership between Airtel and Kenya Power means that people who pay their energy bills with Airtel Money won’t have to pay any transaction fees.
Anne-Kinuthia Otieno, who is in charge of Airtel Money, said that this is one of the things the company is doing to help Kenyans during these tough economic times.
This deal will be good for both postpaid and prepaid Kenya Power customers for the next six months.
“We are now happy to offer Kenyans this option, which means that when they pay their electricity bills over the next six months, they won’t have to pay any fees. ” Because the charge per transaction will be lower, customers will be able to use their money for other things,” said Anne-Kinuthia Otieno, who is in charge of Airtel Money.

How to pay with Airtel Money for Kenya Power (KPLC):
Type *334# into their cell phones.
Choose Airtel PayBill from the list of choices.
Pick KPLC as the person who will get the money.
Follow the instructions to make the payment.

This strategic relationship gives our valued customers a seamless way to pay, which will make their lives easier and make them happier.
After six months of no transaction fees, customers will still be able to pay their energy bills at a price they can afford. This is in line with Airtel’s promise to give its customers services that are very cheap.
Airtel Money wants to get more Kenyans to use its app, which has been having trouble in that country. In fact, as of June of last year, less than 800,000 people had used the site.
Airtel Money says it wants to form more relationships with key players so it can offer Kenya’s mobile money services that are easy on the wallet.
