i-Scholar Initiative (iSI) scholarship beneficiaries have started receiving invitations to join iSI’s platform and will be onboarded fully later this month.
The names of the 100 Nigerians who will receive scholarships from the 2024 edition of the i-Scholar Initiative (iSI) were revealed on Monday, June 3, 2024.
The organisation’s vice president, Mrs Hanatu Banjoko, oversaw a stringent selection process that culminated in the distribution of the list, according to a statement made public by the executive secretary, Dr Olufemi Fajolu.

What the i-Scholar Initiative offers
Standardised tests like the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) will be covered under the prizes provided by iSI. Top colleges in North America and Europe demand scores from these two tests.
In addition, the grant pays a set sum for graduate school application expenses and—above all—a comprehensive mentorship program.
According to the statement, over the last four years, more than 250 Nigerians have benefited from iSI scholarships, with most of them receiving fully financed offers of admission into various graduate programs in the USA and other Western nations.
It revealed that the graduate scholars have gotten finance offers totalling more than $30 million, and some have finished their degrees and are currently employed in various disciplines.
“I echo the gratitude expressed by our BoT chair to all our stakeholders, especially our donors. Without them, we can’t do any of what we are doing. So I won’t be mistaken in saying that they are the engine that powers this organisation,” the iSI president, Victor Ogunmola, was quoted as saying.

The organisation announced the opening of the 2024 scholarship awards on its portal on the 10th of January, 2024, and it comes to a close on the 10th of February, 2024.
