Google Africa has collaborated with  C. Moore Media and Allison+Partners to officially launch the fourth iteration of “The Future is Female Mentorship Programme”. This one-of-a-kind initiative seeks to empower and encourage African female tech innovators by offering them a variety of tools, chances, and mentoring possibilities.

The programme is presently accepting applications and provides a venue for female entrepreneurs to acquire knowledge regarding public relations and communications, venture capital investment, and media relations, among other topics.

The partnership between Google Africa, C. Moore Media, and Allison+Partners is expected to increase the awareness of African women-led entrepreneurs and contribute to the growth of those companies.

The number of women who wish to participate in the Future is Female Mentorship Programme has significantly increased over the past several years since it was first introduced on Africa Day in 2020 by C. Moore Media International PR.

In 2022, the programme has already received applications from 36 different African nations, representing a growth rate of more than 160%. The programme aims to bridge the support gap and provide much-needed experience and guidance to African female tech founders in recognition of the hurdles that African female tech founders confront in an industry that is dominated by men.

More about the Partnerships

The joint effort with Google Africa to achieve the goals and aims of the Women Founders Africa Programme of the Google for Startups Accelerator is supported by this partnership.

As a result of this cooperation, certain graduates of the Google programme will have the opportunity to take part in The Future is Female Mentorship Programme. By working together, the organizations hope to enable female entrepreneurs across the continent by providing them with the tools and chances necessary to grow their businesses and find solutions to issues that are prevalent in Africa.

In addition to the participation of Google Africa, the fourth iteration of the programme is pleased to have the support of the Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund.

Salesforce Ventures has a significant interest in Africa and has made investments in a number of technology businesses that are focused on the continent, such as Flutterwave and Andela.

The selected female entrepreneurs from all over Africa will be invited to attend a session on venture capital fundraising that will be hosted by Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund as part of the programme. During this session, they will receive helpful information on how to obtain venture capital for their respective firms.
