The programme will provide participants with the necessary experiences, skills, and information to cultivate an entrepreneurial attitude and forge the resolve required to become successful business owners and agents of positive change in their communities and beyond.
This will be accomplished through an organised curriculum. Beneficiaries will acquire a thorough understanding of entrepreneurial concepts with a focus on developing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The programme aims to solve the major issues faced by young entrepreneurs in Africa, especially their inability to get critical resources such as knowledge, equipment, methodologies, and entrepreneurial expertise.
In addition to serving as inspiration, the platform will help young entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools necessary for success and promoting an entrepreneurial culture.
Their goal is to raise young entrepreneurs, create jobs, encourage ideas and innovation, lessen poverty, and motivate and reorient youngsters to bring out their finest qualities by combining practical help, mentorship, and encouragement.
The Academy’s goal
Africa is expected to have a population of 2.5 billion people, of which 1.3 billion are expected to be between the ages of 15 and 34. This underscores the pressing need for more businesses to be established to create more jobs.
However, studies show that 90% of firms fail, with 10% failing in the first year and 70% failing in the first five years. The leading cause of this high failure rate is the lack of access to essential resources, including knowledge, equipment, processes, and entrepreneurial expertise.
The goal is to increase their chances of success by offering essential tools, knowledge, resources, methodologies, and entrepreneurial expertise. This platform aims to help young people negotiate business complexities, seize opportunities, and acquire the skills necessary for sustainable companies by combining practical guidance with motivation.
Benefits for the recipients
Some benefits that recipients will derive from the program include preparedness for entrepreneurship and developing functional organisational abilities, such as money management, time management, strategic management, and interpersonal skills.
Other benefits include acquiring leadership and life skills, such as goal-setting, planning, study methods, academic and career guidance, and the capacity to solve problems and make decisions.
Selection Prerequisites
Students can participate in the programme if they have vital business concepts.
All selected individuals must have a phone, laptop, or other device with internet connectivity for the length of the program.

Elements of the Academy
The Academy consists of four elements such as live classes where founders and professionals with a wealth of experience will guide participants through an organised curriculum that promotes an entrepreneurial mentality; Spotlight Show, where beneficiaries take part in a conversation show with young entrepreneurs and changemakers who will answer questions and share their personal experiences.
Learning Management Portal, which they use to access various learning tools for personal growth outside of the classroom, such as videos, PDFs, audio files, and assignments. The LMS will be used to submit project work and mentorship, during which beneficiaries will receive vital connections and guidance from entrepreneurs and industry experts.
