Apple new phones come with free access to emergency SOS

Apple said that some key features can’t be used on products that will be sold in British shops.

Apple announced the launch event for its newest product, which has a satellite-powered emergency roadside help system.

Users who are off the grid and do not have access to Wi-Fi can utilize the new Roadside Assistance service to send a text message for assistance if they are having trouble with their vehicle.

The cutting-edge function enables individuals to place calls to emergency services through satellite to obtain aid when stranded on the road.

The new phones come with free access to Emergency SOS for two years, courtesy of collaborating with the American Automobile Association.

However, residents of the United Kingdom are excluded because the service is only available in the United States.

iPhone 15 users without eSIM

iPhone 15 users are in for yet another letdown, as their devices won’t be able to use an eSIM once the new model is released.

Users can install up to eight eSIMs on a single iPhone and make use of two phone numbers simultaneously, thanks to this feature.

With the release of the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max, Apple has discontinued the sale of physical SIM cards for use with its iPhones in the United States.

Customers in the United States who have the most recent version of the iPhone are restricted to using eSIMs only.

Apple explained, “An eSIM enables you to conveniently activate cellular service securely without needing a physical SIM card.”

“Because eSIM is stored digitally on your iPhone, the likelihood of your SIM being physically damaged, lost, or stolen is significantly decreased.”

“Once you’ve finished setting it up, your SIM card will be deactivated, and you’ll be able to remove it from the SIM tray,” it will say.

On September 22, consumers in the UK will get the opportunity to purchase the most up-to-date smartphone.
