The company has also significantly increased its utilisation of certified green and self-generated solar electricity, rising from 24% to 81% globally. In alignment with Egypt’s 2035 sustainability vision, ABB introduced the innovative Energy Efficiency Movement (EEM) in Egypt earlier this year. By advocating affordable energy alternatives, scalable solutions, and best practices in technology, EEM encourages businesses to reduce energy consumption. This initiative has resonated globally, with over 400 businesses committing to sustainable practices. ABB invites Egyptian corporations to participate in this movement, equipping themselves with the knowledge and tools to lower greenhouse gas emissions, bolster climate resilience, and transition to a low-carbon economy.
