Remitly and Airtel Tanzania have partnered to make money transfers across the nation more convenient.
Customers may now take advantage of Airtel’s extensive network in both urban and rural locations by sending money directly to their Airtel wallets. The partnership aims to improve ease and accessibility in Tanzania’s expanding remittance sector.

On Wednesday, the U.S.-based remittance provider announced the agreement, claiming it will facilitate and expedite cross-border money transfers, providing assistance to those assisting loved ones in Tanzania.

According to Remitly, Airtel Tanzania, a mobile operator with more than 19.4 million customers, is essential to this endeavour.
