3MTT to issue certificates for Cohort 1 Fellows

3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Nigeria is about to award cohort 1 fellows with certificates in appreciation of their diligence and hard work.

In order to be eligible for the award of the certificate, the fellows are implored to make sure they have finished their in-person training as well as any necessary online courses to guarantee them the award of their certificate.

“Your status should reflect “Completed ALC Training”, “Employed” or “Certified” to confirm your eligibility.” added in the statement.

Any AltSchool learner who hasn’t achieved a 100% score will need to retake the exams. They are only allowed three attempts, so before they attempt anything, they are to carefully go over the course materials.

The completion status is synchronised every two weeks. Those who haven’t yet reached 100% are implored to finish their courses before the next update, which is expected at the end of next week.

Why 3MTT exists

The 3MTT program is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy in keeping with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s goal of generating 3 million digital jobs by 2025.

The goal of the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) initiative is to establish Nigeria as a net talent exporter by strengthening the nation’s technical talent base, which will drive its digital economy.

The program, which is run in partnership with NITDA, involves several parties that are in the program’s execution, including placement agencies, training providers, fellows, and partners.

People who are interested in particular talents are chosen, and funding is provided to cover the cost of their training with approved training providers.

The skills in focus include Software Development, UI/UX Design, Data Analysis & Visualisation, Quality, Assurance, Product Management, Data Science, Animation, AI / Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Cloud Computing and Dev DevOps.
