An invitation to women exhibiting interest in tech-related careers. The GetBundi Education Foundation’s TechSis programme aims to provide free digital skill training to 10,000 African women by 2023—a Foundation-registered trademark. GetBundi Education primarily targets groups that could be left behind, such as women and girls, internally displaced pupils, refugees, and those with disabilities.
In our first TechSis 2023, 500 African women learned to code. The beneficiaries, speakers, and partners all commented positively, making it a huge success.
After documenting the critical takeaways from TechSis 2023, we are working with stakeholders to implement the recommendation to upskill many African women with digital skills to fuel inclusivity, innovation, and prosperity for Africa.

GetBundi TechSis 2024 Free Digital Skill Training.
With 300 women from each of Nigeria’s six geographic zones sent by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, TechSis 2024 aims to teach 1000 Nigerian women about Web Development and Data Analytics. These 1000 women will be able to take any of the over 2,000 hours of courses made by experts in the field and skilled instructors on the GetBundi Education Technology website for free. It will help them get ready for work.
There are four parts to TechSis 2024, an online programme that lasts six months, from July 2024 to December 2024. In Africa, as in the rest of the world, men are likelier than women to work in the tech business. African women are very overlooked in the tech business, as research shows that only 30% of women working there are African.
Female digital exclusion, which means that women are disproportionately unable to access and use digital technologies and services, is a widespread issue that is blocking the creation of a fully inclusive digital future. The TechSis initiative will help close this gap in Africa.
Anyone who wants to join must be at least 18 years old, a college or university graduate who wants to learn new skills or move into tech, and have a working laptop or PC. You don’t need to know anything about the Digital Skills lessons beforehand.
TechSis 2024 digital training skills are helping women into technology. Fostering diversity, giving assistance and opportunities, and tackling barriers and biases may make the tech sector more inclusive and inventive for everyone. With dedication, women may be represented and empowered in technology.

About GetBundi
GetBundi is an education technology platform that provides high-quality, engaging, and accessible STEM education for post-primary schools and Africa-wide digital skills courses.
For most young Africans, secondary school is their last before entering the workforce. Thus, affordable, high-quality secondary education may prepare youngsters for the workforce, boost productivity, and revolutionise the economy, creating a virtuous cycle of human and economic progress. We provided resources to help STEM students build their skills.
To equip its youth to compete worldwide, Africa must embrace and prepare them for a technology-driven future using STEM, English, and digital skills.
