Aleph Group appoints Martins as Managing Director

Stanislaus Martins has been named Managing Director for West Africa by Aleph Group Inc., a global ecosystem of digital specialists and technology-driven solutions that boosts digital marketing.

In a press statement to Reuters, Aleph said it trusts its new Managing Director’s abilities.

Stanislaus will oversee Aleph’s West Africa operations, focusing on solidifying Aleph’s position as the region’s leading digital platform sales partner, fostering strategic partnerships, and growing the West African digital economy.

“We are thrilled that Stanislaus is taking charge in this important role,” said Aleph Sub-Saharan Africa Managing Director Stephen A. Newton. “His experience in digital marketing, technology, and sales makes him the ideal leader for our West African expansion. Stanislaus has led successful industry projects for nearly two decades. He knows the African digital landscape well, having been Aleph’s Regional Meta Director SSA and launching Meta’s Authorised Sales Partnership programme in Nigeria and Ghana.

Stanislaus has always driven growth, nurtured talent, and had excellent partnerships, which can help Aleph achieve its big West African aspirations.

Six months ago, Aleph’s African media sales subsidiary, Ad Dynamo, named José Gonsalves its East African Managing Director. Gonsalves oversees the company’s digital workstreams, deliverables, and more after his appointment.

Ad Dynamo expanded into Nigeria eight months ago. Nigeria was the next best area to try due to its intense internet penetration and startup brand concentration. Interestingly, Ad Dynamo had previously worked in Nigeria.

The country got a free digital academy named Digital Ad Expert in 2022. They supported its goal of upskilling 50,000 digital learners worldwide. It scheduled appointments. The company hired Stephen Newton as Africa’s Managing Director this year. Carl Jordan became the Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Sales Director.
