Tunisian e-commerce startup Drest secures $336k to fund expansion

216 Capital Ventures has provided an investment of US $336,000 to the online retailer Drest, which has its headquarters in Tunisia, in order to facilitate the online retailer’s expansion into the African market.

Online retailer Drest carries ready-to-wear items as well as products in the beauty, accessories, fashion, and lifestyle categories. Omane and Malek Mzabi established the company in the year 2020.

Drest will be able to continue to expand at its current rate while simultaneously breaking into the African market thanks to 216 Capital Ventures, a venture capital firm that recently participated in a funding round to the tune of US $336,000.
