Metal Slug Tactics brings tactical combat this November

A new game from the well-known franchise, Metal Slug Tactics, is coming out on November 5, 2024. This new addition breaks from the established pattern of the series, which comprises action-heavy gunners and provides a stunning tactical RPG.

The game will be playable on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. When focusing on the primary objectives, Metal Slug lasts approximately 53 minutes.

To fully complete the game, expect to spend approximately 2  hours and 30 minutes.

Metal Slug Tactics combines classic run-and-gun gameplay with rogue-lite elements

In Metal Slug Tactics, the players face the opposing force on turn-based maps, and movement becomes an unarmed offence. The game also includes elements of rogue-lite, which allows replayability with the die and retry system and involves using experience points to unlock new weapons and abilities. Players can try every strategy they want with 110 handmade maps and 20 different mission types.

In contrast to the run-and-gun gameplay of the original games, Metal Slug Tactics takes a more planned and systematic approach to gameplay. Since it is a tactical role-playing game, it keeps the trademark pixel art of its predecessors while integrating additional rogue-lite mechanics to increase the number of times it can be played.

Metal Slug Tactics is a video game that combines existing elements with new twists. It is being marketed as both a tribute to the classic series and a new take on the game.

In a recent trailer on YouTube Metal Slug Tactics – Release Date Trailer, developer Leikir Studio and publisher Dotemu showcased three returning characters from SNK’s earlier games: Clark Still, Ralf Jones, and Leona Heidern.

There will also be a physical version of Metal Slug Tactics; further pre-order information will be revealed. The Metal Slug Tactics series has been a huge hit for almost 20 years, and now fans are anticipating a new tactical element.

Fans and newcomers alike are looking forward to a new and exciting title in November: Metal Slug Tactics, with which, due to changes in its design, insiders will be able to rejuvenate the series, staying true to itself at the same time.

  • Star Wars: Bounty Hunter will be released in August

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter will be released in August

You read that Bounty Hunter will be making a triumphant comeback this coming August. Initially released for the PlayStation 2, this legendary video game is getting a much-anticipated re-release. It will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and your personal computer.

You read that correctly: bounty hunters from all across the galaxy (or at least from various gaming platforms) will finally re-experience the boots (or jetpack treads) of the notorious Jango Fett.

Even though Aspyr, the development company responsible for the project, has hinted at “optimisations” for the new hardware, this re-release is expected to be more than just a straightforward port.

We can anticipate better frame rates, improved resolution, and some visual modifications to make the game shine on contemporary monitors. Specifics still need to be published, but we can anticipate these improvements.

What precisely can fans of Star Wars expect?

Bounty Hunter and those interested in the game for the first time anticipate from this re-release that during the game, you will take control of Jango Fett, the Mandalorian bounty hunter who was the inspiration for Boba Fett. You will use your jetpack to travel through various tasks across the Star Wars world, to locate legendary criminals and bring them into your care (or, if the price is right, eradicate them for good).

The game features a variety of gameplay elements, including platforming parts, action-packed shootouts, and even some light puzzle-solving, which helps to maintain a diversified and entertaining gameplay experience.

It is also interesting to note that the re-release brings up some doubts. When the redesign is complete, will it feature any new content, or will it possibly even give a clue about the upcoming series?

Are there plans to include any online multiplayer?

The capability that would enable bounty hunters to compete with one another for the most lucrative contracts? Even though Aspyr is keeping quiet about these particulars for the time being, one thing can be said with absolute certainty: the return of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is sure to rekindle the passion for traditional Star Wars bounty-hunting adventures.

For those of you who are Star Wars fans, mark your calendars. Regarding blaster combat and Mandalorian mayhem, August is becoming potentially explosive. Whether you are a seasoned Fett fanatic or a curious beginner to the world of Star Wars bounty hunting, this re-release is the ideal opportunity for you to become a part of the search and experience the excitement that comes with it.
