    The impact of the event

Nigerian LearnlyApp holds event to improve tech education

As a company dedicated to upskilling and empowering tech talents in Nigeria, showcasing their journey during the event will inspire others and attract more enthusiasts to join the mission team.

The event works with the impact of the 72-hour rule, which states that the likelihood that you will apply a new idea and learn fast decreases to zero if you do not make the initial move toward applying it within the first 72 hours.

LearnlyApp aims to maximise impact by engaging enthusiasts over the course of 72 hours.

The event is another avenue to showcase Nigerian tech talents and foster global recognition.

    About LearnlyApp

Under the direction of its founder and CEO, Ibiyemi Pedro, LearnlyApp is building a community for education and job placement for talented young Africans to address the lack of access to quality education and skills on the continent. This initiative not only improves the lives of individuals but also advances the continent’s economy.

In addition to offering long-term personalised learning support for talents within organisations to keep talents relevant, LearnlyApp (https://learnlyapp.io/) gamifies learning to improve learning outcomes for African youths.

Being mobile-first also helps to penetrate a larger market, as smartphone adoption is rapidly increasing on the continent. For users of iOS and Android, the mobile app filled with tasks, tests, and a wealth of educational materials is accessible in the app stores.

LearnlyApp Edtech launched its MVP mobile app in September 2022 and attracted 150 users. It then hosted its first user boot camp in January 2023, which helped the platform’s user base balloon to 600 by March 2023.

On July 22, 2023, LearnlyApp held its official launch in Lagos, Nigeria, complete with a bootcamp. The platform also supplied talent to several partners, such as Ideation Hub Africa, which has over 25,000 change makers, TechBeaver, Technify incubator, and other partners seeking skilled talent.

As of the end of July 2023, the EdTech had over 1250 users across its learning communities, and the app placed 35 people in organisations and generated a substantial amount of revenue. With over 40 million users, they will begin in Nigeria and aim to grow to other nations. This is crucial for a continent where over 450 million young people make up the workforce of the present and the future.

This event is another opportunity to improve tech education and promote the upskilling of talents through the exposure the event is bound to attract.

The Advantage of Learnlyapp in the Evolution of High-Income Skill Learning for African Youths

In the modern, rapidly changing world, it has become essential for professional advancement to acquire high-income talents. This is especially true for young people in Africa who are looking for lucrative employment prospects. This article discusses how Learnlyapp’s personalised and game-based learning strategy is radically altering the way high-income skills are acquired by young Africans. Learnlyapp’s main focus is on helping young Africans improve their employment prospects.

Customised Learning Resources Learnlyapp acknowledges that each student is an individual with a unique set of preferences and a distinct method of acquiring knowledge. Because of its extensive collection of audio-visual learning tools, it covers a wide variety of themes and topics, including coding, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, product design, and front-end and back-end development, among others.

Learnlyapp provides thorough roadmaps for a variety of high-income talents in order to ensure a learning journey that is both well-structured and productive. Students are given assistance in navigating their chosen talent with the use of these roadmaps, which serve as step-by-step instructions. Students are able to track their progress, maintain their motivation, and develop a sense of achievement as they travel along their selected roadmaps when they are provided with clear targets and milestones.

The incorporation of game-like elements into the learning process is one of the primary focuses of Learnlyapp. Students have the opportunity to put their knowledge to the test, compete against their classmates, receive badges for their accomplishments, and win amazing prizes such as movie tickets, phones, and accessories when they take part in the Learnlyapp Challenge. These challenges not only serve to reinforce learning, but they also develop a sense of healthy competitiveness, which encourages students to push themselves beyond their limits and thrive in the path that they have chosen.

Learnlyapp recognises the value of mentoring relationships for professional growth and provides opportunities for such relationships. The phrase “follow who know road” is a popular proverb in Nigeria. Here at Learnlyapp, we make it possible for seasoned professionals to interact with our students on a mentorship basis so that they can impart their wisdom, support, and encouragement in the form of career guidance.

Learnlyapp, as part of the Tech For Social Good Initiative, interacts with partner organisations such as Ideation Hub Africa (Africa’s Leading ecosystem for social change) to provide students with the opportunity to participate in internships. This is done in an effort to close the gap that exists between theoretical knowledge and its practical implementation. These opportunities for internships give students with vital hands-on experience, enabling them to apply the knowledge and abilities they have gained in the classroom to real-world circumstances while also gaining industry exposure that is significant in raising their employability rate.

Learnlyapp goes above and beyond traditional online education by hosting networking and technology-related events. These events bring together students, experts from relevant industries, and IT enthusiasts in order to stimulate collaboration and the exchange of knowledge. Students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of educational opportunities, such as workshops, seminars, and conferences, where they can get insights into the most recent developments and trends in their chosen profession. In addition, by participating in these networking events, students have the opportunity to meet other persons who share similar interests and to develop vital professional ties.

Learnlyapp is on a mission to change the way young people in African cities acquire high-income skills and provide them the tools they need to succeed in today’s labour market. This trip will take place one city at a time.
