How to optimise your LinkedIn profile with ChatGPT

Optimising your profile is crucial if you want to stay ahead in today’s competitive job market. Your LinkedIn profile is a prime example of how important first impressions are. Your profile needs to be strong, interesting, and expert since you only have a short amount of time to grab someone’s attention.

Although it demands meticulous attention to detail when done by hand, we’ll take a deep dive into how ChatGPT can revolutionise your LinkedIn profile.

    ChatGPT for outstanding LinkedIn headline

An effective LinkedIn headline is an attention-grabbing one-liner that compels readers to read more. Making a good impression on the first contact is your best chance because people don’t have time to look over numerous profiles.

To that end, your headline should articulate your uniqueness; it’s like a brief elevator speech that introduces you and your work. For clients like [your top clients for social proof], you provide [your niche plus what you do] for Service 1, Service 2, and Service 3.

    Guide on the ChatGPT prompt:

Using my resume as a guide, compose a LinkedIn headline that is no more than 220 characters in length. A more conversational approach would be to write a LinkedIn headline highlighting my relevant work experience and including the keywords you want to use. Please refrain from using more than 220 characters. After pressing “Shift” and “Enter,” paste your resume underneath.

Use ChatGPT to optimise job/experience, descriptions

You should describe your career path in your work experience section. With ChatGPT’s assistance, you can detail your accomplishments and duties for each position in an engaging and informative manner.

A description can be added for each job you list. Gather your relevant documents, such as a resume or job description, and study them thoroughly. The prompt can be as follows:

Use the information in the [job description] to write three accomplishments for your resume that pertain to [your role or title].

Be sure to include success metrics that include.

After pressing “Shift” and “Enter,” paste your CV or job description.

Save the output in a different location.

Press “Regenerate” to make two additional versions.

Always remember to save the response from ChatGPT.

Try out a few different versions until you find one you like, then tweak the metrics to make it sound more like you.

For each of your next positions, repeat the above.

    ChatGPT for summary/about section enhancement

You have the opportunity to show off in the About section with the aid of ChatGPT. Use a compelling narrative to hook readers and conclude with a strong call to action. Be sure to maintain the emphasis on the value you provide.

Another important thing is for people to notice how you stand out from other experts in your field. It would be more effective to begin with a narrative rather than a summary that sounds like a resume, and you are limited to 2000 characters.

This is what the prompt can look like:

“Write a LinkedIn “About” section using my resume below as a guide.” Alternately, “Use my job history to compose a professional summary; be sure to mention the total number of years I’ve been in the field, as well as any relevant keywords; and do not exceed 150 words in length.” (After pressing “Shift” and “Enter,” paste your resume into the box that appears.)

Save the output in a different location.

Press “Regenerate” to make two additional versions.

Always remember to save the response from ChatGPT.

Evaluate the options, select the ones you like from the generated versions, and make any necessary adjustments. The end product ought to be a perfect summary of your ChatGPT LinkedIn profile.

Using ChatGPT and the steps provided in this guide, you can make your LinkedIn profile stand out from the crowd. With ChatGPT’s help, you can make the most of LinkedIn to expand your professional network, highlight your skills, and advance in your career or start your own business.

  • Microsoft, OpenAI face litigation over ChatGPT training

Microsoft, OpenAI face litigation over ChatGPT training

The industry titans of artificial intelligence, OpenAI and Microsoft, are facing a new legal challenge about ChatGPT’s training data.

In Manhattan on January 5, 2024, authors Nicholas Basbanes and Nicholas Gauge went to a federal court to say that their works were being used to teach the popular language model without their approval.

This claim comes right after the New York Times sued the same companies a week ago for the same reason.

Copyright Issues with Echo in the Courtroom:

The lawsuit says that OpenAI and Microsoft “misappropriated and exploited” Basbanes and Gage’s works to make a business plan that makes money, which is the same thing as “stealing” intellectual property to get rich. They say that ChatGPT’s use of their work doesn’t change anything and competes with their unique works. Some examples were when ChatGPT generated responses that were almost word-for-word copies of passages from the writers’ books.

It brings up important questions about fair use and how to handle data decently when developing AI. The writers want big money in damages and an injunction to stop other people from using their works without their permission.

    Mounting Pressure on AI Titans:

These cases add to the legal pressure on OpenAI and Microsoft, which are already scrutinised for making AI models that need much data. The results of these cases could set a prominent example of how AI is developed in the future. For example, it could change how companies train and use big language models while still respecting the artists’ rights.

This changing legal situation shows the importance of clear rules and ethical thoughts about using data in AI development. As AI overgrows, it will be essential to find a balance between new ideas and protecting intellectual property. It will help make the technology’s future responsible and long-lasting.

    What you should know

Although OpenAI owns the popular chatbot ChatGPT, Microsoft is part owner through its investments. Microsoft has committed $13 billion to OpenAI and has incorporated the company’s technology into its Bing search engine.

Investors now value OpenAI at more than $80 billion, and the company is reported to be in early discussions to raise a fresh round of funding at a valuation at or above $100 billion.

  • Where ChatGPT is heading in 2024

Where ChatGPT is heading in 2024

It is inevitable to look ahead and consider where the innovative technology of ChatGPT will be in 2024 as we enter the constantly changing world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). An increasing number of AI applications will be mobile-friendly, impacting not only our professional lives but also our personal relationships and leisure activities.

OpenAI’s linguistic wonder ChatGPT has already pushed the limits of what is possible in machine learning and Natural language processing (NLP). Regarding this AI phenomenon, though, what does the future bring? Let’s set out on a quest to discover what the future holds for ChatGPT in the coming year.

AI will impact almost everything, including politics and education, in this article however, we shall focus on three areas.

    The change in workplace

ChatGPT is going to become an integral part of our routines very soon. The year 2024 will usher in the AI copilot for millions of workers. But for a lot of people, it may be the year that the predictions of job losses due to AI become a reality.

The role of artificial intelligence will shift from that of a passive assistant to that of an active collaborator in our daily lives, whether it’s handling emails, making appointments, or translating languages in real-time. Efficiency and convenience in one’s personal and professional life will be redefined by this integration.

The European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act exempts certain open-source models from certain regulations, and venture capitalists are rushing to invest in these companies. Instead of concentrating on broad solutions like ChatGPT, expect to see companies innovate in how they apply AI models to their own products.

    The change in health sector

According to Omar Arnaout, a neurosurgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, AI will help improve surgical precision and post-operative monitoring by “analysing patient data,” which should lead to more personalised medical treatment plans and earlier disease detection in 2024.

As an example, AI will pave the way for more personalised cancer treatments by allowing for the development of more precise pharmaceuticals and novel drug combinations based on each patient’s unique physiology.

The largest tech companies went on an acquisition binge in the health tech industry after radiologist Marc Succi told Axios that patients would increasingly use AI chatbots for medical triage advice.

AI FinanceGPT to Simplify financial analysis in SA local languages

    The change in content creation

There is little doubt that the innovative uses of ChatGPT will experience an exponential rise. An increasing number of tasks will make use of ChatGPT’s creative abilities, such as poetry writing and the generation of novel business ideas. Along with making creativity more accessible, this will pave the way for exciting new artistic partnerships between humans and AI.

Experts predict that the next year will see major legal decisions arising from copyright disputes involving artificial intelligence (AI), notably those involving the unlicensed use of protected content to train AI models.

James Grimmelmann, a professor of digital and information law at Cornell Law School, told Axios that the Copyright Office and courts will need to educate themselves on the creative decisions made when developing and guiding models.

Developers of AI often fail to explain the reasoning behind their tools’ decisions and the content they use for training, which is a major issue. This opacity will only grow as technology progresses unless business practices are altered. Tech behemoths like OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, Getty, and Adobe have all committed to shielding users from legal action related to the content they’ve created with their AI tools.

The research conducted by Upwork indicates that there is a large confidence gap between executives, managers and individual workers when it comes to their organization’s AI plan and products. Executives have a confidence gap of 73% to 53%.

Bill Gates claims that recent developments in artificial intelligence will cause “a massive technology boom later this decade,” but he also admits that widespread use might take another two years.

  • OpenAI’s ChatGPT Faces Challenges Amid DDoS Attacks

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Faces Challenges Amid DDoS Attacks

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Navigates Challenges Amidst DDoS Attacks and Security Concerns

OpenAI’s flagship chatbot, ChatGPT, finds itself entangled in a web of challenges as it grapples with persistent outages attributed to a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. Users have experienced access denials, receiving messages that the tool has reached its maximal capacity, effectively hindering logins and service utilization.

The turbulence began when OpenAI initially attributed the disruptions to the overwhelming interest generated by the tool’s latest feature lineup, as showcased during a high-profile developer event. Sam Altman, the owner of OpenAI, openly acknowledged that the organization was caught off guard by the magnitude of the response, resulting in unforeseen issues.

Contrary to an earlier claim of resolution, ongoing updates on OpenAI’s report page reveal that the problem persists. Users report periodic changes in both the tool and its Application Programming Interface (API), indicating a dynamic environment that developers can leverage for integrating ChatGPT into their applications.

    DDoS Attack Revelation

In a surprising twist, OpenAI has now disclosed that the persistent outages stem from a deliberate DDoS attack. The traffic pattern reportedly exhibited unmistakable characteristics of such attacks, overwhelming the online service system with a deluge of requests aimed at disrupting normal functionality.

Adding a layer of intrigue, the hacktivist group Anonymous Sudan claimed responsibility for the DDoS attacks on Telegram. However, security experts have traced the origin of the group to Russia, raising questions about the true source of the attacks. In response to the security concerns, Microsoft took a cautious approach, briefly restricting its workforce’s access to ChatGPT.

OpenAI’s competitor, Anthropic, faced analogous challenges with its AI-powered chatbot, Claude. Capacity limitations similarly led to an inability to generate responses promptly, echoing the issues experienced by ChatGPT. This parallel struggle highlights the broader vulnerability of AI systems to external disruptions.

ChatGPT now has Android app on Google Play store

    Microsoft’s Prudent Measures

Microsoft’s decision to temporarily limit its workforce’s access to ChatGPT reflects a commitment to security. This move, framed as a precautionary measure, aligns with Microsoft’s substantial investments in cybersecurity. It also underscores the company’s responsibility in safeguarding against potential security breaches, especially when dealing with widely used AI services.

As the saga unfolds, the confluence of cybersecurity challenges, hacktivist claims, and the responses of major stakeholders adds complexity to the narrative. It underscores the critical need for robust security measures in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI technology. OpenAI, in collaboration with security experts, is expected to continue investigating the source of the DDoS attacks and fortify ChatGPT against future threats.

In conclusion, the ongoing challenges faced by ChatGPT serve as a poignant reminder that even cutting-edge AI systems are not immune to deliberate disruptions. As the AI community grapples with these incidents, the focus on security, transparency, and collaboration becomes paramount for the sustained advancement of AI technology.

  • Musk unveils AI “Grok” to compete with ChatGPT

Musk unveils AI “Grok” to compete with ChatGPT

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and owner of the X, showed off “Grok,” an AI chatbot with a sarcastic and funny sense of humor. Musk said this AI had a “rebellious streak” and got ideas from “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.”

After testing, Musk’s X premium users will get Grok, which is like ChatGPT but not as good.

The AI robot was shown off a week after Musk said AI could be dangerous to people. Even though people are scared, Musk’s AI, Grok, has a fun side.

The fact that this chatbot can get information instantly through the app gives it a clear edger over other AI models. Musk wrote, “I have no idea who could have guided it this way.” It was also said that Grok likes humour.

Musk put up a picture of a robot asking for a “step-by-step” guide on how to make cocaine to show how fun Grok was. It replied funnily, “Get a degree in chemistry” and “Open a secret lab in a remote area.”

“I’m kidding!” the AI chatbot said. Do not make drugs. I never suggest it because it’s against the law and immoral for you.

Grok has not been launched yet because it is still in testing mode. Musk plans to give it to X Premium+ users.

    Some facts about “Grok”

American science fiction writer Robert A. Heinlein coined “Grok”, which means “to understand thoroughly and intuitively.” Grok, built by Musk’s new AI startup xAI, is reminiscent of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” in design. It aims to answer many problems with wit, mirroring Douglas Adams’ rebellious sci-fi comedy.

Grok-1, a considerable language model, powers the AI chatbot, according to the xAI team. Grok-1 outperformed GPT-3.5, the model used in ChatGPT’s free edition, in middle-school math tasks, according to a blog post.

It trails GPT-4, the most potent ChatGPT model. Grok-1 is only surpassed by models like GPT-4 with more training data and computational power, according to the xAI team.

Grok is now a prototype available to a limited number of US consumers, with plans to provide “new capabilities and features” in the coming months. An “early access program” gives X subscribers early access to the chatbot, according to Grok.

    Musk cautiously approaches xAI

OpenAI’s co-founder, Elon Musk, left the business in 2018 over differences with its goals. In March, Musk backed a six-month break in developing robust AI systems due to concerns about rapid AI development.

In July 2023, he created xAI to build responsible AI systems. With xAI, Musk wanted to learn more about AI and its potential while maintaining safety.

Musk tweeted the following day, “Announcing the formation of @xAI to understand reality.” He is committed to exploring AI’s genuine potential and influence on society.

The morality and safety of AI have been debated since Elon Musk warned that AI will someday replace all human occupations.

  • Open AI allows ChatGPT voice chats

Open AI allows ChatGPT voice chats

Open AI, ChatGPT’s parent company, is rolling out a voice chat function. Open AI’s latest blog article says so. This development comes shortly after it was revealed that the AI platform had seen a third consecutive month of declining traffic.

The AI startup claimed ChatGPT is adding speech and visual capabilities. These features allow users to hold a vocal discussion or show ChatGPT what they’re talking about, creating a more intuitive interface.

“You can now talk to your assistant using voice. The blog post suggests talking to it on the way, asking for a bedtime story, or settling a dinner table disagreement.

Read also: OpenAI launches ChatGPT enterprise package

The new voice capabilities use a new text-to-speech engine that Open AI claims can generate human-like sounds from text and a few seconds of sample speech. Users can utilize pre-recorded voices or record their own, which the system will learn quickly.

“The new voice technology can create realistic synthetic voices from a few seconds of speech. We created each voice with expert performers. Open AI also transcribes your speech into text using Whisper, our open-source speech recognition system.

The company will launch the functionality in two weeks. Go to Settings, choose New Features on the mobile app, and enable voice conversations. Tap the headphone button in the top-right corner of the home screen and select one of five voices.

While the business expects the breakthrough to enable many creative and accessibility-focused apps, it warns that malevolent actors might mimic public personalities or conduct fraud. Thus, it powers a particular use case with the technology.

“For this reason, we are utilising this technology to power voice chat, a particular use case. We worked with voice actors to build voice chat. We collaborate similarly with others. Spotify is using this technology to pilot their Voice Translation tool, which enables podcasters to reach more listeners by translating podcasts into other languages in their voices.

    Other Open AI features

The Open AI AI solution will include voice and image capability and conversation. Users can talk to ChatGPT about their plans or daily routines with the tool. You may upload a photo of your closet on ChatGPT and ask for ideas about dressing.

Voice and image expand ChatGPT’s use. Please take a picture of a landmark while travelling and discuss its appeal live. To decide what to make for dinner, take images of your fridge and pantry at home and ask questions for a recipe. After supper, help your youngster with a maths issue by snapping a photo, circling the problem set and having it share tips with you, says the blog post.

Open AI said vision-based models face significant issues, from hallucinations about humans to relying on the model’s picture interpretation in high-stakes settings. It stated it vetted the model with red teamers for radicalism and scientific competency and a varied range of alpha testers before broader deployment.

“Our research enabled us to align on a few key details for responsible usage,” it stated.

The business stated that ChatGPT is not always accurate and has taken technical precautions to limit its ability to analyze and make direct remarks about people.

Whether these additional steps will stop the bleeding and boost company visits is unknown. However, it introduces a thrilling new AI battle.

    Microsoft Investment In OpenAi

It is common knowledge that Microsoft is a big investor in OpenAI. In fact, Microsoft recently stated that it will extend its collaboration with OpenAI by making an investment of an undisclosed billion dollars amount over the course of multiple years to expedite advances in artificial intelligence (AI). An OpenAI spokesman responded to CNBC’s question regarding the similarities and differences between ChatGPT Enterprise and Bing Chat Enterprise, Microsoft’s enterprise AI chatbot, by stating “This is an OpenAI product independent of Microsoft.” Having said that, we have high hopes that our product will be compatible with other tools, including those developed by Microsoft. Customers have the option of selecting the platform that best suits their needs and those of their company.

Despite the fact that OpenAI did not reveal pricing information, the company anticipates that firms that are interested in the product would get in touch with them. It will be determined by the usage and use cases of each individual firm.

Customers of OpenAI are reminded to keep their eyes peeled for upcoming features, which will be rolled out as and when they are made available. These features include the ability to personalise ChatGPT through the use of company data, a ChatGPT Business solution that is geared towards teams with fewer members, enhanced iterations of Advanced Data Analysis, and optimised browsing capabilities. In addition, you should anticipate the development of specialised solutions that are customised to specific functions, such as those used by data analysts, marketers, and customer care specialists.

    The top 5 ChatGPT plugins

ChatGPT plugins are extensions made by third parties that add to the features of ChatGPT. OpenAI says, “Plugins are tools made for language models with safety as a core principle. They help ChatGPT access up-to-date information, run computations, or use third-party services.”

It only takes a few clicks to set up a ChatGPT plugin, but you need a ChatGPT Plus account. Plugins for ChatGPT can’t be used without a premium membership.

Open ChatGPT’s Settings > Beta Features, then toggle Plugins in the bottom left corner.

    Select New Chat in ChatGPT.

     Replace ChatGPT with GPT-4.

Select Plugins > Plugin Store from the dropdown.

Select the ChatGPT plugin to install.

Installation should take seconds. Select the plugin again to uninstall it.

     Prompt Perfect

    D23E1817 EAA1 4F07 B057 CAD30D1E299C

Writing can be hard when you don’t know where to start. This is where ChatGPT’s urging comes in. Usually, to get a reaction, you have to send a prompt that explains precisely what you want, and then you get the answer to the prompt.

ChatGPT responses are only as excellent as your prompts. A game of hits and misses, urging is challenging. The ChatGPT plugin Prompt Perfect allows you to create well-structured and effective prompts to achieve your goals.

To use the Prompt Perfect plugin, start your prompt with “Perfect,” then your prompt. The plugin replaces your prompt with a more thorough, optimized one to elicit the best ChatGPT responses.

To get a detailed, humanized reaction to your essays, business proposals, or other writing, send in suitable prompts.

     AI Engine

    31EA935E A6A3 4622 8BEE 5FA4D0901B8F

The AI engine plugin is one of the most popular ChatGPT model-based WordPress plugins, with over 20,000 active installations. It offers AI tools.

AI Engine lets you command a ChatGPT-like robot. The plugin lets you create text and photos, test titles and ideas, fill out WooCommerce product forms, and more. You only need an OpenAI key.

The AI Engine Material Generator creates unique content for blogs, emails, chatbots, and code! It can be customised with many choices. Then click Generate below the topic area and Create Post. So long! The message is set.

AI Engine has other valuable features, such as an SEO optimizer for titles, keywords, and snippets.

     Link Reader

    C908E32B 07F1 4EC1 9DB8 999CE97DA4E7

The fact that the default ChatGPT can’t read links and make content from them is one of its many problems. Most of the time, when you’re writing, valuable links are sources of information and study. This means that they can give your writing context.

Even though the link reader’s main job is to read the text of the links you give it, it can do much more when used with other ChatGPT plugins. There are a lot of things that can be done, from summarizing the content of web pages to checking the news for accuracy.

     ChatWithPDF Plugin

    EDDCBFC8 78D4 4D97 8AE2 958910C395DB

The ChatWithPDF plugin does exactly what its name says. No longer do you have to spend hours studying and flipping through dusty books. The ChatWithPDF app is here to talk to those old books on your behalf.

You can use ChatGPT to get details from any PDF file by just giving it a link. You don’t have to do anything else. Just put the link to the PDF in your prompt and start asking your questions.

There are a lot of ways to use it. You can upload your class lessons as PDFs and use them to study for exams. You can also post work documents and use them to write work reports, or you can ask the tool to pull out the most essential parts of any PDF.

You upload your PDFs, and then, like a wise older man, the plugin talks to the texts to find hidden gems and valuable insights. It’s like having a friend who goes back in time and brings back treasures from the past.

  • ChatGPT may bankrupt OpenAI in 2024

ChatGPT may bankrupt OpenAI in 2024

ChatGPT costs OpenAI $700,000 a day. If Sam Altman’s company doesn’t make money soon,

Microsoft and other new investors may stop covering these costs. Data analysis The India Journal reported that the company could go bankrupt by 2024.

Microsoft’s $10 billion investment might be able to save OpenAI. “But on the other hand, OpenAI expected to make $200 million a year in 2023 and $1 billion in 2024, which seems like a long shot since the company is still losing money,” the report said, noting that in May of this year, OpenAI’s losses doubled to $540 million since it started developing ChatGPT.

The post stated that OpenAI had been profitable for years despite CEO Sam Altman’s lack of ownership.

Additionally, the report discussed how fewer people are visiting the ChatGPT website. According to SimilarWeb data, the generative AI chatbot had 1.7 billion user visits in June and 1.5 billion in July, after reaching a record high of 1.9 billion in May 2023.

More on the report on ChatGPT

The account also mentioned a user on X (which used to be Twitter) who said that API competition could be a big reason why fewer people are going to the ChatGPT website. Most companies do not let their employees use the generative AI chatbot for work, but they do let them use the API to use the large language model (LLM) in other processes.

But Analytics India Magazine said, “It is a bit arrogant of OpenAI to think that the drop in users is just because people have started using the API to build their own products.” The trick here is the rise of open-source LLM models, which is interesting. In partnership with Microsoft, Meta’s Llama 2 is letting people use the model for business.

“So, why wouldn’t people choose an easy-to-change Llama 2 instead of what OpenAI offers, which is a paid, proprietary, and limited version?”

The lack of graphics processing units (GPUs) is another problem for the company. Altman had already pointed out that the lack of GPUs on the market made it harder for the business to improve and make new models. Earlier, the media said that the company had applied to trademark “GPT-5,” which shows that the company wants to keep teaching models.

Artificial intelligence will revolutionize education, says ChatGPT CEO

Elon Musk, who is building a competing robot, would also be a threat to ChatGPT. “It’s interesting that a lot of people found his idea to build a “TruthGPT,” which is not as politically biased as ChatGPT, to be interesting,” the report said.

To get ahead, Elon Musk bought 10,000 NVIDIA GPUs. On the bright side, OpenAI’s switch to a paid version may have brought in a lot of money, but “the financial numbers are still unclear.”

Even so, if this company focuses on LLM and goes public, bigger companies may buy it out. According to Business Standard, the story also said that this could be one way for investors to get their money back.

OpenAI’s AI chatbot, ChatGPT, is now available on Android after two months on iOS.

The Android app will be released in sections to US, India, Bangladesh, and Brazil clients. Next week, OpenAI will expand the app.

A subscription unlocks GPT-4 and other features in OpenAI’s ChatGPT Android app.

Google Play offers the ChatGPT Android app for Android 6.0 or later handsets in India. The software is available in India, the US, Bangladesh, and Brazil, and OpenAI aims to expand next week.

    Download the ChatGPT Android app

Through Google Play, non-pre-registrants can download the app. It’s 6MB. Users who have already signed up only need to download a short update from the app store.

Go to the page for the ChatGPT Android app in the Google Play store.

Tap “Install” and wait for the app to download and set up.

If you’re not already signed in, open the app and, when asked, enter your Google ID and password.

Other people can use already-made logins.

You can then use all of ChatGPT’s features just like you would on your computer after completing that step. Android apps sync and have chat logs. GPT-4 accounts can be paid for or are free.

OpenAI releases ChatGPT for iOS, Android users must wait

ChatGPT has been iOS-only since May 2023. In November 2018, AI-based chatbots gained popularity in IT. ChatGPT users can type queries and directions. The software provides answers, tailored ideas, and inputs using AI.

But Similarweb said that ChatGPT’s website had fewer unique users and less traffic in June, a week before the Android app came out.

The analytics company said that desktop and mobile traffic to ChatGPT’s website dropped by 9.7 percent in June compared to May, while the number of new visitors dropped by 5.7 percent. The amount of time people spent on the page went down by 8.5%.
