If associations think of the startup industry as an ecosystem, they will have a much easier time understanding the diverse digital technologies they employ and the ways in which those technologies’ interconnections affect the ecosystem as a whole.
An ecosystem for startups and innovation is made up of a number of different stakeholders who are essential to the process of innovation. These stakeholders include (intra)entrepreneurs, academic institutions, governments, businesses, startup accelerators, venture capitalists, private investors, mentors, the media, and other possible innovation partners.
