Reneé PR Stories Promote African Tech Founders and Startups

As the number of African tech startups in the ecosystem has increased, so has the demand placed on founders and businesses to develop and implement public relations strategies that go beyond the announcement of partnerships, products, or financing efforts.

Reneé PR is a tech-focused public relations firm that attempts to assist brands in developing and implementing successful public relations and communications strategies that shape narratives and reinforce the journeys of African tech pioneers.

Joyce Imiegha, a public relations and communications expert with a passion for honest and uncensored storytelling, developed Reneé. Reneé’s objective is to assist African brands in developing and implementing these strategies.

Reneé Public Relations also offers media relations, personal branding, narrative building, crisis management, communications, and reputation management.

The inspiration for Reneé

While working as a Producer on the YouTube show Founders Connect, which recounts the experiences of African entrepreneurs, Joyce first became interested in the art of storytelling. Despite the plethora of information on the products and startups that the founders had established, she saw that there was a major vacuum in the tales that were given about the founders.

As a result, she established Reneé PR with the intention of resolving this issue by increasing the visibility of tech founders and entrepreneurs in the global marketplace through the utilisation of narratives that are both compelling and emotionally resonant.

As a result of the rapid pace at which the technology business operates, it is absolutely necessary for founders to maintain a prominent presence, remain one step ahead of the competition, and construct a solid presence while simultaneously earning the confidence of stakeholders and boosting their visibility among potential clients.

When asked about the value of brand storytelling, Joyce emphasised the fact that human brains are stimulated more efficiently by stories than by other types of information.

A narrative that is singular and compelling has the potential to assist founders in developing stronger relationships with their target audience, distinguishing their products from those of their rivals, and motivating those who wish to work in the technology industry or form their own businesses.

Before Reneé PR’s official launch, the company helped Nigerian tech founders and startups such as Njoku Emmanuel, Lazerpay, Busha, and Heroshe by providing resources to identify and tell stories that were vulnerable, inspiring, and life-changing.

These stories helped to bridge the gap between the companies and their users, employees, investors, and the general public. Reneé PR’s official launch is scheduled for later this year. Additionally, the agency has been successful in getting substantial press coverage for its clients with respectable media sources both locally and internationally.
