InGame Sports receives $1 million in pre-seed funding

A pre-seed funding round for InGame Sports, an online gaming platform based in Egypt, raised more than one million dollars.

A global venture capital firm, Openner, led the round, which possesses a unique combination of capital and technology. In addition to Sports Radar, angel investors from Egypt and other countries also participated.

With the new funding, the startup will be able to move forward with its plans to expand into more countries, release add-ons built on Web3 technology infrastructure, and add blockchain technology to all of its modules in the future.

Ingame is a mobile football game that came out in 2021. It caters to football fans by giving them a way to play the game and earn rewards.

“InGame is designed to empower and engage its users with unprecedented ways and experiences through new reward schemes,” said Mohab El Tawila, Managing Partner of InGame Sports. “InGame aims to provide an innovative entertainment value to millions of football fans in the region,” said Mohab El Tawila. InGame wants to become a major player in the gaming industry by including a number of innovative and ground-breaking interactive football experiences that have never been seen in the gaming industry before but are fun for football fans.

The strategy for the new company is not to simply cover the market in Egypt; rather, it also seeks to expand through a number of different countries. InGame plans to make add-ons that are built on web3 technology infrastructure and use blockchain technology in all of its modules in the near future.

Within the first three weeks of the launch phase, the game obtained over 17,000 downloads with an average of 3 minutes and 16 seconds of screen time each session. Additionally, the start-up company rolled out a premier free-to-play football game in the region.

InGame was developed to provide its players with never-before-seen opportunities and experiences, all while empowering and engaging them through innovative reward systems. The fledgling business plans to develop add-ons constructed on web3 technology infrastructure and incorporate blockchain technology across its modules. These plans are now in the planning stages.
