Candidates who chose Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, as their first choice in the 2023 UTME and scored 200 or above or who applied for Direct Entry (DE) should know that registration for the 2023 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME)/ OAU Post UTME screening exercise will begin on Monday, August 14, and end on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Step-by-step process to sign up
Step 1: Go to the official sign-up site. On Monday, August 14, you can start registering. All people who want to go to OAU have to go to admissions.oauife.edu.ng, which is the official entry site. If you got a score of 200 or higher on your JAMB test, this is where you start the registration process.
Step 2: Go to your account and sign in. When you get to the site, use your Registration Number as your Username and your Last Name as your Password to sign in. This will give you access to the site for registration, so you can take the next steps.
Step 3: Fill out the Form of Biodata that asks for your biodata. Make sure the information you give is correct and up-to-date. After you’ve filled out the form, click “Continue” to move forward.
Step 4: Make the RRR payable. You need to get an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) from the same site in order to move forward with the registration. This will be used to make the payment that is part of the registration process. You can pay this bill online or at any business bank, whichever is easier for you.
Step 5: Verify payment and sign in again. Once your payment is complete, the system will instantly log you out. Now, you can sign in again to finish the registration process. For the next steps to happen, this payment receipt is very important.
Step 6: The online test for screening It’s important to know that the whole process of checking will be done online. At this stage, candidates will not have to go to the school in person. This online method is meant to make sure that everyone who wants to apply can do so easily and quickly.

It’s important to remember to be honest when filling out the forms and sharing your credentials. If you give false information or send the wrong credentials, you may be automatically disqualified. Make sure all the information you give is accurate and can be checked.
After you’ve signed up, you need to keep an eye on the OAU admissions site. You will be able to see your screening plan from Tuesday, September 12, 2023, to Saturday, September 23, 2023. This will tell you when and where your test will take place. Sign in to the site at the time and date you were given to take part in the screening.
