GTAP 2023 invites applications from Nigeria, Kenya

alGROWithm, Africa’s foremost growth agency, has announced that the Growth Talent Acceleration Programme (GTAP) 2023 is now taking entries from organisations in Nigeria and Kenya.

This program’s purpose is to upskill key startup team members so that they may become informed growth engineers for their companies.

The scaling problem that startups encounter is handled by alGROWithm’s GTAP. Scaling requires more than just money, and sometimes startup teams lack the knowledge to make the transition from start-up to scale-up.

The alGROWithm Growth Talent Acceleration Project aims to bridge this gap.

“Last year, we saw that when organisations hire fresh growth hackers, founders still have to wait for them to learn about the business before they can start delivering value,” said alGROWithm founder and CGO Bili Sule.

‘‘We investigated approaches for improving learning and impacts. Businesses hire growth specialists. Accelerate growth engineers. The outcome was Software 2.0.

About the GTAP 2023 Programme

The 2023 GTAP programme includes the following:

A 3-day, in-person, rigorous Growth Hacking Bootcamp 1 month of supervised practical growth projects based on the company’s growth goals and 2 months of intensive online growth skills lectures and workshops with impact monitoring

The Curriculum

Our training curriculum is different from many others that are theory-based, according to Seyi Boya, Growth Marketing Ops Lead at alGROWithm. Ours is based on real-world methods, structures, and strategies that we have employed to develop our clientele constantly.

GTAP begins with growth’s foundations. Participants will learn growth strategy frameworks and infrastructure planning tools. They’ll also learn behavioural science and choice architecture to influence user behaviour. See the curriculum outline.

Application procedure

With the exception of founders and co-founders, who may submit their own nominations, nominations must be submitted by business executives or the company’s founders.

Each business can nominate up to four team members for the programme, and each nominee will have to take a basic online screening test to ensure they have the prerequisite skills to be successful on the programme.

You can nominate yourself and team members at https://algrowithm.com/gtap/apply-2023/ by April 17, 2023, or let your employer nominate you.

Who is alGROWithm?

Have you heard of “growth-as-a-service” (GaaS)? You’ve heard of BaaS, SaaS, and even FaaS.

That is what alGROWithm provides. The organisation, which was established in 2018 by Bili Sule, employs growth engineering to develop and implement sustainable growth models and strategies for African startups and SMEs. The range of services offered by alGROWithm includes branding, digital advertising, growth modelling, and marketing. And SMEs expand through diagnosis, design, and execution.

The agency has served over 50 startups in the ecosystem, including Spleet, Chaka, OkHi, and Binance, where it led a market entry campaign into Nigeria.

Growth Engineering Training (GET), a 6-hour course that alGROWithm also offers, has been successfully completed by over 300 people. Yet, GET only provides a cursory understanding of growth engineering strategies to its learners.

Sule, GET’s Chief Growth Officer, said, “Although GET challenges the attitude, we wanted to establish something that helps trainees conceive of growth in a consistent and sustainable approach for organisations” (CGO).
